Big news: RUSH World Tour Announced
Picked this one up from livedaily.com: Rush announces a world tour in support of their upcoming release, Snakes and Arrows, and they are indeed coming to Dallas! Rush will hit D-Town on August 11; confusingly, they’ll run over to Selma on August 12 for a show, chill out, and then play The Woodlands on August 14! Can you get any more obscure with your locations? (Yes…try Paris and Greenville, Tx) For those of you in Dallas, expect to be able to kick back with your cheap lawn seats at Smirnoff Amphitheatre and smoke some. We all know you’re gonna.

New Rush Album Details
Blabbermouth.net reports that Rush’s new album, titled Snakes and Arrows, will be released May 1 for your listening pleasure. The band’s previous full-length studio album, Vapor Trails, was released exactly five years earlier in May 2002. I’ve included the tracklisting below (don’t expect this to be set in stone, but it’s a pretty good indication of what will be on the album). The cover artwork can be viewed at Power Windows, a Rush fansite, and if you’re a bona fide fan you might want to bookmark that page: from what I gather, they’re going to be keeping it updated with all forms of album updates and news. The album art looks pretty…Rush-y. I like it. I also used to think Geddy Lee was an ugly woman with a bad voice. Seriously.
