Hey all, sorry for the few and far between updates while I wait on my internet to arrive (and find myself a working computer). But this looks to be freaking awesome, Metallica’s Enter Sandman is set to be released as a playable track on the upcoming Guitar-Hero-and-then-some spinoff Rock Band. How this game will hold up in the face of Guitar Hero’s unrelenting reign remains to be seen, but I have a pretty good feeling that it’s gonna be everybody’s new addiction. Having a really great track like this is a good start. I hope the other ones don’t suck.
And please, please figure out a way to download Metallica’s track illegally. Just to spite them. Here’s the link.

The man responsible for churning out the blasts of sexy that came to be known as “More Than a Feeling” has passed away at the age of 55. According to this report, Brad Delp was found dead at his New Hampshire home yesterday. No other details are known, as is always the case in “rock star” deaths. I will keep my ears open, though. I gotta pay my respects. I play this song in Guitar Hero.
